What comes Around

Idyll Holsclaw
The Divine Miss. Cake Eater

Unnerved and lost by the light in my face
So pale and so cold, I feel out of place.
It's eating my mind and I start to swoon,
So aiming my pistol, I shoot down the moon.
Now everything is so much dear,
And the faintest sound falls into my ear.
Silhouette in the window is my proven clue,
When the light goes out, I see it is you.
Like a mist I float myself into your home,
After hours of waiting till you were alone.
And through the key hole I see you in bed,
Yes now I remember the things that you said.
With the greatest precaution I open the door,
And slide like an angel across the cold floor.
So sweet is the smell, the essence of life,
So cold is the air, as cold as the knife.
My lips touch your face and you open your eyes,
I've found my way into your soul full of lies.
The blade must be sharp so I'll let you check,
So hold your head still as I sever your Neck.
